It’s that time of the election season again.
There are 8 Democratic and 9 Republican candidates all wanting to wear the title of President of the United States. As such, they’re all busy trying to raise campaign contributions in their bid for the White House – although, as far as I’m concerned, some of them don’t have a prayer and should just drop out right now and save everyone the aggravation.
Yesterday in the news I read about Senator John McCain (AZ-R) who, according to the article, had raised some $25 million during the beginning of 2007. The article went on to say that when he reported to the Federal Elections Commission, he told them that his campaign has run out of money and is just about broke. It’s probably a toss up whether or not his campaign will be able to recover. (more…)
