Autumn is underway. The weather in this area is, for the most part, still pleasant. There have been nights when the temperature has dropped into the lower 50′s and upper 40′s, but over all the days have been filled with typically beautiful California weather. But, in the blink of an eye winter will be upon us. That means that it’s time for winter preparations.
This is the time of year when many of the small furry creatures in this area begin preparations for the winter months. They are beginning to store food. They are making sure that their burrows and holes are made as cozy and dry as possible. But they aren’t the only ones who are trying to be ready for the winter months. (more…)
