For weeks now, the homeless in this area have been about the business of making sure they have warmer clothing, enough blankets and sleeping bags to stay warm during the winter months. It’s a good thing too. As of late, the nights have been colder and the mornings have seen a build up of frost on benches, sidewalks and the like.
For some, it’s become routine. For others, who have recently become homeless, it’s a relatively new experience – one that they probably never thought they’d have to face. But, for whatever reason, they have found themselves homeless on the streets of my community. (more…)
