There are folks in my community who genuinely care about the homeless. Of that I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever. I’ve had the good fortune to have met a good number of them.
I’m sure that they don’t consider themselves as being special. In fact, I’m pretty sure they think of themselves as just the average everyday person – you know, the person next door who is just doing the best they can. (more…)
